Chicken Spinach Riviera, PNKY Travel Cafe

Chicken Spinach Riviera - chicken strips spinach, mushroom and tofu
in white sauce served with rice and vegetables
Around Php 200 - Php 250 (5.00 to 6.00 USD)

It's always more palatable to eat food with a presentation, right?

At PNKY Travel Cafe in Baguio, it's always a delight to see your food once it is served on the table. And it's not only the presentation that will make its food really remarkable, it's really the taste too.

Smoked Bangus with Eggplant Ensalada, Penpen's Filipino Kitchen

Smoked Bangus with Eggplant Ensalada
Php 170.00 (4 USD)
In all fairness to this very simple combination, the bangus (milkfish) is really tasty and the ensalada is good. Not bad for Php 170.00 (around 4 USD)

The original Penpen's was located at 105-C Scout Castor near corner Tomas Morato, Quezon City where I got to taste for the first time, the crispy liempo in the early 2000s.

Now it is currently located at 15-A Gen. Romulo Ave., Cubao Expo, Araneta Center, Quezon City
Metro Manila, Philippines.

Katsudon, Teriyaki Boy

Teriyaki Boy Katsudon Php 175.00 (4 USD)

From the website: Breaded pork cutlet, deep-fried and simmered in sweet soy sauce, onions and leaks with beaten eggs, topped on a bed of steamed Japanese rice.

Big in portion and always freshly cooked.

Tapa Flakes, Tapa King

Crispy tender beer bits marinated in special seasoning, served with garlic rice, egg and salsa.
Php 110 (3 USD)

This is one of the few items in the Tapa King menu that I order. Tapa Flakes. I like eating at Tapa King because of the food portion, the perfect sunny side up egg and the salsa. Their vinegar is also super.
