Local Veggie Mix



My business partner in Boho Sarapsody Bistro in Cubao is a Chef. And even before we started with the bar, I have always been a fan of her cooking.

Here's one veggie mix she did when we were in Baler, Aurora in 2011. We were cooking (wait, no). She was cooking our food for most time, and we only had a grill. We could go to restaurants or carinderias, but why? We were with a chef.

I don't really eat okra, and I don't really like Bagoong Balayan (fermented fish and salt) but with this one, it was something that I must try. Just look at it. It looks yummy even without the fancy presentation -- grilled okra, boiled camote tops and onion, then poured with Bagoong Balayan. So simple but really yummy!
